FINE HAIR is built with too much moisture, not enough protein, so it’s like a wet noodle.
MEDIUM HAIR has equal parts moisture & protein, and is the PERFECT hair type.
COARSE HAIR has too much protein & not enough moisture.
**HAIR: is 80% protein, with a little bit of moisture, ions, & pigments. When hair gets damaged due to chemicals, it’s protein that gets damaged, so most of the time for chemically damaged hair you’ll need protein, but if it’s just normal hair, or coarse, you will need moisture. FINE hair will need the protein, & MEDIUM hair will need to maintain the balance it already has.
**So think of Fine hair as silk thread, Medium hair as a rope, and Coarse hair as heavy twine.
